Just wanted to take a minute to thank Terry Olinger at Warbird Outdoors again. This past weekend we had a Bassmaster Weekend Series tournament on Lake Anna. The fishing has been pretty tough and inconsistant, but......I found a paticular bait made by R&R Custom baits that they would eat if i could get it in front of them. This particular color and the floating properties of the bait I beleive made the difference.

After practice on Thursday I had two of these baits left in the bag and a day of preactice still yet to go. I knew Warbird Outdoors was about the only place I could rely on to carry this bait so I called up Terry and asked for his help in getting ahold of some baits. By tournament day I had enough of the baits in my boat to get me through the weekend. The result was an 8th place finish out of 93 boats and a nice payday.

I see nobody has had anything to say about SML so I'll be the 1st.

I run a weekly tournament from April till September called the Tuesday nighter. We go from 6:30 to 10:30. It's a lot of fun. We do have some nice fish in the lake in case anyone is wondering. It doesn't take quite as much weight to win here as it does up your way but usually on a Tuesday night it takes 15-20 pounds in 5 to win. Last friday night it took 26 pounds to win. Most of our tournaments are at night in the summer because we get CRAZY boat traffic. But, you can still catch em in the daytime. My buddy and I won a day tourney a couple of Sundays ago with 17.63 pounds in 5.  we catch em in all kinds of different ways. Not much vegetation so we fish rocks, docks, deep brush and things like that.
